CHARITY EVENT BENEFITING FIGHTING FOR CHILDREN, INC.

TAMPA BAY FANS ARE TREATED TO A THRILLING NIGHT OF MALE &
FEMALE THAI BOXING TO BENEFIT FOSTER CHILDREN IN NEED OF ADOPTION

TAMPA, FL – Master Mehrdad’s Muay Thai Classic XXIII features male and female fighters from all over the U.S. to benefit Fighting For Children, Inc., a nonprofit organization that produces video documentaries of foster children in need of adoption.  Athletes who fight at Master Mehrdad Muay Thai Classics compete for a purpose that connects on a personal level.  These fighters become a voice for children who are lost in a system as they literally fight for them.

Saturday evening’s event is also the first of five shows produced for a reality TV series called Shin Do Kumaté – Strykerz!  The series is in its third season and currently airs locally on Bright House Sports Network, as well as multiple international networks which include Canada, Albania, New Zealand, and more territories with a pending contract with ESPN Asia.

Muay Thai is an exhilarating stand up fighting style that provides optimum excitement, as these fighters do not grapple in cages, but rather execute techniques that require tremendous training under highly qualified teachers and masters.

Master Mehrdad’s Muay Thai Classic XXIII takes place this Saturday, February 27 at the India Cultural Center, 5511 Lynn Road, Tampa. Doors open at 6pm and the competition starts at 7pm.
